New York Knicks star nabs $3M Tribeca triplex

Just months after inking a new four-year, $27 million deal with the New York Knicks, basketball player Lance Thomas has scored himself a Tribeca condo.

According to city records filed today, the forward spent $3.56 million on unit TH2, a 2,518-square-foot triplex at 52 Lispenard Street.

According to its listing, the two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom spread encompasses the lower three floors of the building, and comes with soaring ceiling heights, wide-plank Italian oak floors, recessed LED art lighting, a custom-designed eat-in kitchen with marble countertops, a double-height great room with a marble smokeless clean-burning fireplace, a three-story-high wall of glass, plus there’s access to an 86-square-foot private outdoor space. It was last listed as a rental unit for $13,000 a month.

52 Lispenard Street is a newly renovated six-unit residence formed of two 19th-century landmarked buildings.
