“All in the Family” star Carroll O’Connor’s Dakota pad sells for $3M

The Dakota home of the late actor Carroll O’Connor, who starred as Archie Bunker in the 70s television show “All In The Family,” has just sold for $2.8 million city records show.

The apartment, at the infamous co-op building where the former Beatle John Lennon was shot in 1980, is on the second floor and comes with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

According to its listing, it has 14-foot ceilings, huge arched windows in every room, an expansive formal room, patterned hardwood floors, two hand-carved wood-burning fireplace mantels with marble hearths, extra tall solid wood doors with original fixtures and etched glass, original sunburst copper grills, marble window sills, built-in window shutters and contoured window frames.

Before O’Connor passed away in 2011, he shared the co-op apartment with his wife Nancy Field O’Connor.
