Le Bernardin’s top chef Eric Ripert sells Chelsea home

Three-star Michelin chef Eric Ripert might have personally designed the kitchens for the entire building at the Chelsea Green, but that’s not enough to keep him from parting ways with his condo there. Ripert has sold his two-bedroom spread at 151 West 21st Street for $2 million, according to city records.

The second-floor apartment totals 1,272 square feet, and has in-cabinet recycling centers, high efficiency faucets, marble clad master baths with deep soaking tubs and heated bathroom floors, floor to ceiling windows, wide-plank walnut floors, and of course, an Eric Ripert designed kitchen.

He and his wife snapped up the pad in 2014 for $1.5 million.

Meanwhile, the environmentally friendly building comes with amenities, including bike storage, a wellness center, a billiards room, a coffee bar and a landscaped roof deck.

The celebrity chef is also the co-owner and culinary force behind Midtown’s Le Bernardin, which is consistently rated one of the best restaurants in the world. It has held a perfect rating from the Michelin guide since 2005 and has boasted four stars from the New York Times for longer than any other restaurant.

Ripert also regularly appears on cooking show’s like “Top Chef” and “Masterchef.”

Ripert’s wife Sandra had the listing, along with her Douglas Elliman colleague Patricia Vance.
