The sky’s the limit for Robert Wiesenthal. The high-flying executive and founder of Blade — the Uber for helicopters — just bought a $15 million West Chelsea condo. The 12th floor unit at 551 West 21st Street is an upgrade from his former Upper East Side home at 147 East 63rd Street, which sold for $10.5 million in June 2015.

His new 4,271-square-foot landing pad boasts four bedrooms, four and a half baths and four exposures. An elevator opens directly into the airy, “column-free” home, which includes a center gallery, library and formal dining room. Oak herringbone wood floors and detailed millwork are featured throughout the home. His master suite offers Hudson River views — even from a free-standing tub and a walk-in closet.

The Observer points out this place is ideal for the former Sony music exec considering there is a Blade lounge just a hop, skip and a jump away at 30th Street and 12th Avenue. Just in case Wiesenthal wants to take a quick getaway to the Hamptons, Bahamas or Florida. [Observer]
