Horsing around on the UES

A 110-year-old carriage house at 165 East 73rd Street on the Upper East Side is on the market for $14.5 million. The 5,058-square-foot home — which has been owned by the same family — has all sorts of historic, stable-y details, including high ceilings, arched doorways and a hand-carved hitching post. The collection of 5,000 vintage toy soldiers is not included. You can view the Times’ slideshow of the property here.
