Broadway producer Michael David will be treading the boards in a brand new apartment very soon. The co-founder of Dodger Theatricals has just purchased a penthouse on the Upper West Side for $4.3 million, city records show.
The duplex apartment is located at 12 West 96th Street, a 17-story co-op building. According to its listing, the home has four bedrooms, three bedrooms, along with an almost 2,000-square-foot terrace. Plus there’s a semi-private landing, a sky-lit foyer, glass sliding doors, a wood-burning fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, floor-to-ceiling bookcases and cabinets, and a walk-in closet.
David and his wife Lauren Mitchell, aren’t strangers to the building; they already own at least two other units in the building, property records show. We wonder if they have a super-spread in mind?
David isn’t the only Broadway producer to have made his home on the Upper West Side. Back in March, “Hamilton” producer Jeffrey Seller snapped up a Riverside Drive mansion.
Leslie Rupert of Corcoran had the listing.
