While Kylie Jenner has been busy buying up properties galore, her sister Kendall Jenner has been focusing her efforts on filling up the one home she does own — with a $52,000 couch.
According to Architectural Digest, Jenner posted about her new acquisition — designed by the Campana brothers for Edra — on her blog. “[It’s] all woven and a really groovy navy with purple shimmer. It works perfectly in the space!” she wrote.
On Edra’s website, the “Boa” sofa, is described as, “A large woven nest. A soft embrace. An invitation to explore different positions lying between its pillows.” Each sofa reportedly takes four people over a week to construct, and requires almost 400 feet of velvet-covered tubes, which are filled and covered by hand, then weaved together.
Jenner snapped up her West Hollywood pad back in June. She paid $6.5 million – a little off its $6.95 million asking price – to the home’s former owners, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski (who are now living in Brooklyn). [AD]
