It’s a real estate touchdown for retired New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan, who sold his 1,911-square-foot home at 25 Murray Street in Tribeca, Luxury Listings NYC has learned.

Strahan, who now spends his post-football days as a co-host on “Fox NFL Sunday” and on “Live! With Kelly and Michael,” sold the home above its asking price for $2.3 million.

The sale has not yet hit city records.

Strahan had used the two-bedroom, two-bathroom loft as a pied-a-terre and planned to renovate the space, but never did, according to previous reports. He bought the apartment in 2008 for $1.66 million, city records show.

The home itself boasts 18-foot ceilings and exposed white-wash brick, according to the listing. Building amenities include a children’s play room, a billiards room, gym and a 24-hour doorman.

Strahan, enlisting Frances Katzen of Douglas Elliman, listed the condominium this past September for $2.25 million. He had previously tried to sell the home in the fall of 2009 for $1.85 million. But he but ended up taking it off the market the following summer, according to StreetEasy.

The sale closed a week and a half ago, according to a source. Information on the home’s buyers was not immediately available.

A message to Strahan’s representative seeking comment was not returned by press time. Katzen declined comment. — Zachary Kussin
