No matter how much money you have, you still probably won’t be able to actually have dinner at Rao’s, the ultra-elite Upper East Side restaurant, unless you are one of the lucky few who own a table there (or know someone else who does). But tonight, one lucky person who is willing to pay big will have the chance to bid on Rao’s executive chef, Dino Gatto, swinging by their house and cooking an exclusive dinner for 10.
That coveted prize will be up for auction at the Lung Cancer Research Foundation’s annual Strolling Supper at Gotham Hall, according to Page Six. The event raises money for lung cancer research.
Other prizes that will be up for auction include a “Hamilton” VIP experience, where the winner will receive tickets to the show plus dinner with two cast members, and a six-day vacation for 20 in a private villa in Italy. Tickets are currently available to the Supper and range from $200 to $100,000. [Page Six]
