Raising money for charity is always pretty great, but raising money for charity by eating delicious food? That’s a real winner.
On November 17th that’s exactly what will be happening when chefs, foodies and philanthropists alike gather at Midtown’s newly renovated Eventi Hotel. The occasion is the sixth annual Chefs for Impact gala, a culinary-themed event where guests will enjoy a multi-course gourmet menu presented by six top New York City chefs.
One of the evening’s chefs, Paul Denamiel, owner and executive chef of Le Rivage, dished to LLNYC that he’ll be serving up a hearty beef bourguignon for his course. Made with boneless short rib, the fare, which Denamiel describes as “French comfort food,” is inspired by his own restaurant’s winter menu.
Other chefs who’ll be working their magic in the kitchen that evening are Matt Bernero of Rose Water; Rhonda Crosson of Agern; and Jessie Feggan of Soho Grand.
