Not sure where to send little Tyson when he hits 14? Well Niche, the popular school rankings site, is here to help. They just released their “Best Private High Schools in America” list for 2017, and, as expected, there are a lot of New England-based schools in the top ten (with four from California thrown in for good measure).

All of these schools are, of course, insanely expensive. But as we’ve previously proved, it’s important to keep in mind that most expensive does not necessarily mean they are the best.

The top ten are below; you can check out the full list here.

1) Phillips Academy: Andover, MA

2) Phillips Exeter Academy: Exeter, NH

3) The Lawrenceville School: Lawrenceville, NJ

4) Harvard-Westlake School: Studio City, CA

5) St. Paul’s School: Concord, NH

6) Horace Mann School: Bronx, NY

7) The College Preparatory School: Oakland, CA

8) The Harker School: San Jose, CA

9) Lakeside School: Seattle, WA

10) Stanford Online High School: Stanford, CA
