This weekend, you don’t need to head downtown to party all night. You can head — of all places– to the museum.

Yes, you read that correctly. The Museum of the City of New York is hosting an all-night, silent disco party this weekend to celebrate its latest exhibit “New York at Its Core.” Called “Gotham Groove,” the party will run for 32 hours straight starting tomorrow morning and will feature “live musical and spoken word performances, films, dance, and interactive experiences for the entire family.”

The crown jewel of the event is the silent disco, which will run from 9 pm to 1 am tomorrow night. Participants will don wireless headphones and dance to their choice of classic dance tunes (swing, jive, etc.), disco songs, or — for those who just can’t live without their Bieber — contemporary pop.

General admission to the museum is free this weekend, though you do need to order an advanced, timed ticket. Tickets to the events like the disco cost money (the disco is $20) and tickets are limited.
