Pharrell Williams goes to Brooklyn for the premiere of his show at BAM: PHOTOS
What does it take to make socialites go to Brooklyn? Pharrell Williams, apparently. The “Blurred Lines” singer premiered his new show, “Rules of the Game,” last night at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and art world royalty turned out in a big way to support him.
Williams wrote the score for the piece, which was choreographed by Jonah Bokaer and designed by artist Daniel Arsham. When the dance show was over, guests attended a benefit dinner chaired by Michèle Gerber Klein. Proceeds from the event benefited Chez Bushwick, a non-profit organization that provides affordable dance space for artists in Brooklyn.
Notable guests of the event included: Diana Widmaier Picasso, Alina Baikova, Magdalena Frackowiak, Masha Markova Hanson, brother Richard Widmaier Picasso and his wife Ulli Widmaier Picasso.
