USSF president scores home steps from Columbia lecturing gig


Sunil Gulati, president of the United States Soccer Federation, just picked up an apartment in Morningside Heights a few blocks from Columbia University, according to public records.

Gulati, who is a also senior lecturer in economics at Columbia, paid $1.5 million for the condo at 545 West 110th Street. The unit spans 1,441 square feet and features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. City records show the apartment last sold for $1.3 million in 2010.


Gulati is also on the FIFA Executive Committee and was one of the executive committee members to demand the publication of reports into allegations of corruption surrounding Russia and Qatar’s bids for the World Cup, according to the Guardian.
