Out with the old and in with the new? Kind of.
According to Page Six, the restaurant that will be replacing the legendary Four Seasons Restaurant in the Seagram Building will be named “Landmark,” which is somewhat ironic considering that many considered the Four Seasons itself to be a type of landmark. But alas.
The restaurant is planned to open in the new year, and restaurant group Major Foods Group of Carbone, Dirty French and Parm are taking charge. Inside, there will be two restaurants; a “classic American” part called the Grill and a “modern seafood” part called the Pool (sound familiar?).
Landlord Aby Rosen posted a somewhat intriguing Instagram this morning of a sign in the Seagram Building reading “Ladies Lounge” that he captioned “Coming soon ……” Hmmmm.
In any event, we foresee a lot of people confusing this restaurant with Marc Murphy’s existing Landmarc restaurant, which has locations in Tribeca and the Time Warner Center. [Page Six]
