First listed was the $11 million Malibu beach house, then it was the $2.3 million Studio City ranch-style spread, and now, in the latest installment of Leonardo DiCaprio’s real estate shuffle, the Oscar-winning actor has parted ways his eco-friendly apartment at 66 East 11th Street.
According to the Observer, DiCaprio’s 3,663-square-foot condo sold for $8 million — $2 million less than he paid for the pad in 2014 — in an off market deal.
According to the original listing, the two-bedroom unit comes with Siberian oak floors constructed to gently support your posture, and in-duct aromatherapy which provides “a subtle array of mood-enhancing aromas.”
The master suite has a circadian lighting system, which provides “optimal lighting to match your natural circadian rhythm throughout the day.” Whatever that means. Plus the master bath includes a whirlpool with jets positioned on a reflexology path in order to promote balance and restoration, and a Vitamin C-infused walk-in steam shower with a custom designed light therapy system.
