It’s no secret that luxe bathrooms are having their heyday, whether it be powder rooms with a view, high-end toilets such as ToTo, which are the equivalent of Tesla for toilets, or golden thrones as art.
So it makes sense that this holiday season bathroom appliance retailers are pulling out all the stops with an array of uber luxe bathroom bling for the filthy rich with (almost) everything.
Brondell, a health and wellness product brand is known for blending technology and luxury design. Their newest product, the Swash 1400 addresses the bidet craze with form and function. The Swash 1400 is a smart bidet toilet seat that includes a ceramic-core water heating system, multiple, fully customizable wash settings, an illuminated bowl, deodorizer and warm air dryer. After raising over $80,000 on a Kickstarter campaign, at its retail price of $650, it is pricier than many complete toilet bowls. Pre-orders, however, are starting at $474 fora limited time, so if you know someone who has been particularly nice, why not get them this naughty little attachment.
Want even more opulence in the lavatory? International luxury furnishings firm Maison Valentina has an array over over-the-top bathroom appliances and fixtures celebs and the like would swoon over. The Newton tub is like no other bathing vessel we’ve seen. This contemporary number and conversation piece is made of black lacquer with high gloss varnish and gold-plated spheres at the base. At $28,965, you may want to live in it, pruning be damned.
Likewise the firm’s Diamond bathtub costs more than many actual gems. At $34,035, the tub will make quite a splash in any home. The exterior boasts a silver-leaf finish with a translucent black high-gloss varnish and gold interior.
One can’t just place these gems next to any old sink, so one can opt for a complete bathroom luxification and add on the Symphony wash basin — handcrafted from nero marquina marble and gold-plated brass for a mere $40,095 extra.
Stay clean out there!
