Meet Chuck McCarthy, possibly world’s first official “People Walker.” The scruffy, bearded performer wants to help Los Angelenos get their walk on … for the modest fee of $7 per mile or roughly $21 an hour for a three-mile jaunt.
“There is the need for people to be motivated to go outside and walking is great exercise,” the lovable McCarthy told The Post.
The benefits of walking are fairly obvious, and McCarthy can help those living in the City of Angels become motivated to makes steps into the LA sunshine regularly. Another bonus is that he is there for not only companionship but also safety.
“It’s actually something I’ve wanted in my life. I’ve wanted to be walked,” client Amber Engelman told The Post.
McCarthy, who is in the process of trademarking the moniker “People Walker,” explains that walking by oneself feels like exercise but walking with a companion is just a walk.
The whole thing is just so precious and adorbs, we smell a sitcom based on McCarthy in production in 3…2…1…
