Classical pianist crescendos into sexy Soho loft

Classical pianist Inon Barnathan just bought himself a three-bedroom loft in Soho. He paid $3.4 million, according to public records.

The full-floor unit in the boutique, five-story building at 462 Broome Street was listed for $3 million by Brown Harris Stevens. Matthew Ernst was the seller.

Barnathan studied under Victor Derevianko, Maria Curcio and Christopher Elton at The Royal Academy of Music and has won the The Avery Fischer Career Grant and The Andrew Wolf Memorial Award, according to his website.
