“Most feared woman in music” buys in Turtle Bay

Cara Lewis, the agent who is named in the 1987 song “Paid in Full,” just paid $3.1 million for an apartment in Turtle Bay, according to public records.

The 1,500-square-foot, three-bedroom unit is on the 17th floor of the 22-story building at 310 West 53rd Street.

Lewis is known for boosting the careers of rappers like LL Cool J, Run DMC, The Beastie Boys, Curtis Blow, Public Enemy, Tupac Shakur, Kanye West, Jay Z, the Roots and Iggy Azalea.

She also has a reputation as a difficult and sometimes feared boss, according to the New York Post.

“If you made a mistake, Cara would . . . tear you down,” a former co-worker told the Post. “She was doing that to maintain power.”

Her newly renovated digs comes with two balconies a separate eat-in gourmet kitchen, Brazilian hardwood floors and an en-suite spa bathroom.
