Trump’s “locker room” buddy Billy Bush has sold his Chelsea townhouse at 224 West 22nd Street, according to the Wall Street Journal. The home was last listed for $8.25 million, but the listing agents declined to tell the Journal the final closing price or the buyer.
Bush bought the home in December 2015 for $8.8 million, and then listed it in April 2016 for $8.9 million, before reducing the price several times. According to the listing, the 4,300-square-foot house has pre-approved plans and is ready for renovation, with potential for a movie theater, wine cellar or gym (pick your poison), as well as a plunge pool and jacuzzi on the roof. It has five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Bush was suspended from the “Today” show after the tape of him and Trump talking behind the scenes at “Access Hollywood” became public in October, and he was later fired from the show. It is unclear why he decided to sell the townhouse.
