In an interview with the New York Times this morning, the president elect Donald Trump spent some time discussing the important issues. Namely, Meryl Streep’s speech about him last night at the Golden Globes and how he doesn’t really care that some celebrities don’t like him because all the best people are going to come to his inauguration anyway.
“We are going to have an unbelievable, perhaps record-setting turnout for the inauguration, and there will be plenty of movie and entertainment stars,” he told the Times.
His only concern? “All the dress shops are sold out in Washington. It’s hard to find a great dress for this inauguration.”
The only thing we can conclude from that quote is that for some reason, Trump himself has decided to shock the nation yet again by wearing a dress to his own inauguration and he’s having some trouble finding one that’s flattering. Perhaps he should take the advice he dispensed so readily to beauty queens and lose a few pounds.
