Andrea Jung, the former longtime CEO of Avon, has listed her enormous Park Avenue pad at 1110 Park Avenue for nearly $18 million after owning it for less than six months, according to StreetEasy records.
Jung purchased the 5,702-square-foot condo in July 2016 for a little more than $17.6 million, and the listing notes that it has “never been lived in.” The apartment has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, 50 feet of Park Avenue frontage, hand-painted cabinetry in the kitchen, an onyx and marble master bathroom and a free-standing tub.
Jung also owns a bi-level co-op at 1021 Park Avenue, which she also listed for sale in September 2016 for $13.5 million.
Jung is currently president and CEO of Grameen America, a non-profit that focuses on providing microfinance loans. She was CEO of Avon from 1999 to 2012, and was the company’s first female CEO. Under her rule, Avon lost a lot of its market value (dropping from $21 billion to $6 billion), and also dealt with charges of bribing foreign officials.
