LLNYC's look at listings:
Once the location of the China Institute’s headquarters, the townhouse at 125 East 65th Street is now serving as the canvas for interior designers to show off furnishings, art and design.
The 10,600-square-foot house is the location of this year's Kips Bay Decorator Show House, and featured designers include Powell & Bonnell, Kirsten Kelli, dineen architecture + design, Janice Parker and Nick Olsen, who each redesigned a room in the house.
Originally asking $38 million, the price of the building was cut to $32 million, then $29.5 million.
It's now asking $26.8 million, but unfortunately for future buyers, none of the designers' work will be included in the sale.
Louise Beit of Sotheby's International Realty has the listing.
