LLNYC's look at listings:
The Gramercy Park penthouse owned by Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander is back on the market with a new price tag, and some new brokers too.
You'll find the duplex spread across the 17th and 18th floors of the pre-war condominium building at 18 Gramercy Park South.
The pad boasts 63 windows, four exposures, hardwood flooring, soaring ceilings, four large terraces, a private outdoor swimming pool with views of the Chrysler Building, a hot-tub, direct elevator entry, an eat-in kitchen with hand painted cabinetry by Smallbone of Devizes, an en-suite staff room, polished marble windowsills, and hand troweled walls and ceilings.
The 6,329-square-foot penthouse is owned by Ceas Holdings Ny I, LLC, and Alexander is reportedly the man behind the entity. This isn't the first time the billionaire has tried to sell the spread -- in 2015 it was listed for $49.7 million, and it 2016 it was asking $47.5 million.
Alexander snapped up the spread in 2012 for a cool $42 million, and it's one of only two units for sale in the Robert A.M. Stern-designed building right now. The other is a four-bedroom spread asking $16.75 million.
Earlier this week Alexander listed his apartment at the Baccarat Hotel & Residences for $21.5 million.
Raphael De Niro, Sara Dai and James C Flowers of Douglas Elliman have the listing.
