LLNYC's look at listings:
"Quite possibly the best and most magical apartment in New York," reads the listing for the triplex apartment at The Ardsley that has just hit the market for a cool $20 million.
This is the first time the five-bedroom spread has been on the market in thirty years. It comes with 15-foot-high ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, a library, dining room, and eat-in kitchen. But the real selling point is the three large terraces that have views for days.
And although we know that the co-op is next door to Barbra Streisand’s former digs which she sold nearly 20 years ago, we have no news on who the owner of the place is.
The Emory Roth-designed building was built in 1931 and comes with a full time, white-glove staff and a gym and library for owners.
Alexa Lambert, Merrill Curtis and Marc Achilles of Stribling have the listing.
