LLNYC's look at listings:
The limestone-loving architect Robert A.M. Stern is responsible for many of the buildings that contribute to the New York City skyline, and more are set to join.
It can be tough to tell them all apart. To the untrained eye, 20 Park Place might be mistaken for 70 Vestry and 30 Park Place may be easily confused for the as-yet unfinished 220 Central Park South.
But 520 Park Avenue you might confuse with a vegetable. According to Stern himself, the tower is like “an elegant spear of asparagus rising out of the ground.”
At $31.65 million, this full-floor spread is the most expensive of the two units available at the building right now, which is set to be completed in 2018.
