LLNYC's look at listings:
Right alongside the High Line, at 520 West 28th Street, you'll find the late, great Dame Zaha Hadid's one and only contribution to the New York City skyline.
When finished, the curvaceous building will contain a total of 39 residences, and the $50 million penthouse 37 looks set to be the most expensive of the bunch.
This pad, at just a fraction of that price, is still something special. It spans 4,219 square feet, and comes with four bedrooms, direct elevator entry, an oversized great room, a balcony, and a kitchen designed by Hadid in collaboration with Boffi.
Meanwhile, the building itself provides residences with access to a whole host of amenities including a full-time concierge, hand-delivered mail, an entertaining suite with events terrace, plus there's a wellness level with a 75-foot saline swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, steam room, cold plunge, waterfall showers and massage beds. Then there's the robotic parking, the storage vaults that have private viewing rooms and the city's first private IMAX Theater.
The futuristic building was set to be completed by late 2016, but that's come and gone, so we're likely looking at an early 2017 completion. Hadid died in March 2016.
