LLNYC's look at listings:
A formerly-garish Tribeca townhouse that was once asking almost $44 million is back on the market and it's cheaper, and more tasteful, than ever.
Owned by Alan Wilzig -- an entrepreneur, semi-professional race car driver and brother to Ivan Wilzig (who recently won an auction to tattoo his name on a woman's butt) -- the house is now asking $19.75 million.
Gone are the listing photos of the bright green Lamborghini, the tanning bed, the multiple motorcycles and the house lit up like a Christmas tree in neon lights. Instead we now get a look at an almost empty garage and lots of neutral color palettes. Though the 500-gallon aquarium remains, thank goodness.
Previous listings have noted that the pad has an assortment of security features including ballistic polymer-wrapped windows and a safe room.
Jane Powers of Douglas Elliman has the listing.
