LLNYC's look at listings:
The sprawling 18th floor penthouse at the Sherry Netherland has returned to the market, but there's nothing new to report beyond that tidbit. The seven-bedroom spread is still being marketed by Brown Harris Stevens' Kathy Sloane and it's still asking a whopping $78 million, making it the fifth most expensive property on the market in the city right now.
We happen to know that the full-floor unit makes an excellent party venue, but alas that doesn’t seem to be enough to sell the pricey pad.
By StreetEasy's records the apartment first hit the market in 2015 when it was asking $86 million. But we happen to know it's been on and off the market since roughly 2013, and asked $95 million more than once.
It comes with a library, and a balcony with one hell of a view.
